Tidioute Conductor - Ebony

That looks very nice.

Looks like they have a really nice supply of ebony.

I think you will find that GEC quality is consistant accross the board. Wether it be GEC, Northfield, or Tidioute brand.

Kind of like buying a good car. You can get all the options or no options but the basic quality is the same either way.

Wow that ebony is sexy. How sharp are the corners that are exposed? Not much of a problem in pocket? This would go nice with my suit.

That's a great looking swell-center balloon. Impressive!

Excellent pix! Got a Tortoiseshell one on its way to me now.

That CASE shows some desirable bone and the wood on that Queen is decent.
Might like to get one of their Stockman in that Zebra.

After seeing the conductor side by side with the Queen whittler I can only echo the OP's sentiment that GEC has the perfect frame to make a whittler on. Just add the coping blade and we're all set.

great pics , i'm glad i ordered one now. sometimes you need a good pic to make a decision. thanks to members for superior photos.--dennis

Smebbin had it right, that thing is SEXY. I really like the chocolate stripes in the ebony you wre talking about it just gives it a little more depth.

They are sharp to the touch, i thought about smoothing them with the buffing wheel, but after carrying it for a few days i really don't feel the need. They are easier on the pockets than you think after feeling them.
