OK folks, time for another Giveaway. I have two of these Tidioute Ez-Opens. One in Red Bone and one in Burnt Orange Bone. I don't need two of them so I'm giving away the Red Bone.

I know the topic has been discussed before but I would like to know what method of storage you folks use to store your slipjoints and/or fixed blades. A simple reply will do and it doesn't have to be anything fancy. If you store your knives in a shoebox, just say so.

Your post number will be your number for the drawing. (#1 doesn't count since that's me)
:)

One post per member please. Pics are welcome but not required.

The only requirements to enter the Giveaway are that you mention how you store your knives and you must have a paid membership. (Basic member or higher) Post count is not a factor so if your reply to this thread is your first post, no problem as long as you have a paid membership.

NOTE: If you have a paid membership and your status under your username says "Registered user" please update your profile before posting a reply. Thanks. On Monday, February 28th at 2:30pm CST I will use random.org to select the winner. The knife is used and sharpened by yours truly but still in great shape with a lifetime of service still left in it. I was doing some experimenting a couple years ago with vinegar induced patinas so that's how this one got its patina.

I use these hinged glass top display cases to store my slipjoints.

I use these Bill's Custom Cases for anything that won't fit in the display case.

Good luck to all!

I'm in. I use a glass display case, a plastic stackable stand or a stood oak wood cabinet to store my knives in. Thanks for the chance Rick.

Plano Tackle Boxes in my dresser. If it does not fit it sits in the same drawer. Thanks for the giveaway Railsplitter.

Im in. I keep my knives , disorganized, in a gun case . When I want a particular knife, I usually have to dig around to find it. Then theres several in my truck.

Rick,
What a ya mean you don't need two:D
I'm in, and thanks.
Tool boxes and sock drawer.
How's that for fancy?
Neal

I use a cardboard box. I've been intending for some time to buy a Sears type metal tool box with drawers that slide out, but have not yet pulled the trigger. Thanks for the giveaway.

Thanks for the chance. I use a wooden tool box similar to a Gertsner only smaller that my grandfather made.

This is a nice give away. :) I purchased a steel 6 drawer cabinet from Ikea, works great!

I keep mine in the box they came in if they are a safe queen. My users and customs stay in either a small zipper case of whatever generic brand comes in black, or in a larger soft case for multiple knives made by Maxpedition, very similar to the one you have. Thanks for the chance.

Thanks for the chance! My collection is a disorganized mess which suits my personality quite well im afraid.I have a Schrade display case that was converted for show.Several padded rolls(only one left full)and my work desk, windowsill, and other flat surfaces are always cluttered with knives.Whenever i straighten things up i always find knives i forgot i had so it's great!:D

Thanks for the chance, I don't yet have a Tidioute.

The bulk of my accumulation is stored in a contractor's job box in my bedroom. I'm not sure I can even lift the thing anymore. :o

I used to smoke Cigars and drink Crown Royal. Cigars I used to buy them by the box. I have 6 Corona Grande Cedar boxes that I place the knives in, each folder gets its own Crown Royal bag (or equivalent, CHUMS makes a Sunglass bag I use.) Users are kept on a shelf in the office.

Thanks for the chance.

Thanks for the chance, amigo. I have two rolls. And then I let chaos reign. My dresser is...uh...cluttered.

That's one of the rolls, you get the idea. :)

The dolls aren't mine, I swear. ;)

I have a full kniferoll like many others. The rest or either in the safe or in their own box in my clothes chest. I have knife fever pretty bad.

I want in on this one.

I have a small chest that looks kind of like it used the Gerstner as an inspiration, but was no where near the price of one of those. Nice little box for the task except that I need 3 instead of the one I have. So, I keep overflow in 2 desk drawers and a dresser drawer in their boxes.

most of my knives are in a craftsman tool box, but edc rotation knives are in a cell phone caddy that has a storage drawer. I still have knives to be sorted that I received when my brother passed about 3 years ago. It took three able bodied men to help me unload them from my truck. thanks for the chance.

I'll shock you all by saying- I store them in their boxes (those that have boxes) in a drawer in my dresser with the other boxes my one hand knives came in. If they don't have boxes, they hang out on my dresser with some of my fixed blades and assorted kydex sheaths. I use Kershaw branded knife bags that hold 18 folders for the rest.
