Purchased a cultellus with Tiger Hide. I like it even more than snakeskin, but don't see much of it. Is it the same story as the snakeskin, that it can't be recreated, or is it just rare?

I thought that Tiger Hide was one of the Failed attempts to replicate the soon to be extinct Snakeskin?
Tiger hide is prettier than snakeskin imho
Wow that is good looking stuff. Beautiful knife shark! So basically the tiger hide and snake skin are both multi colored linen micarta not unlike the snow hole? And they cannot be replicated?
Canvas micata. They're both canvas, not linen. Busse used to say on the website that all attempts to replicate Snakekin had failed. I haven't heard them say that about Tigerhide. (It may indeed be the case, but I've never heard it fom Busse.)
According to Jerry's Sarge 7 announcement, the scales were actually linen.

The Stripe of the Tiger
Our Tiger Stripe canvas micarta is now only available on Limited Edition models and features an unusual combination of Black and Tan coloring. At first this handle color was offered on a few, non-limited edition standard models but our supply was quickly depleted and this forced us to limit its availability as well due to extensive waiting periods between re-supply.
