Tiger or Combat Systems Fighter?

I like the Tiger more. The blade angle is more straight with the handle where as the CSF points a little upwards of a angle. The grip on the Tiger also really locks your hand in place forward or reverse grip.

While I do love the roadhouse grip, and its super ergonomic, I think I'd choose the tiger as well.

I have and love both. If I could only keep one it would be the CSF. I actually prefer the more open ended grip.

I like the CSF, and it will be my next Emerson.

The upsweep, to me, means there is less of an opportunity for the lock to fail on a thrust, because much of the pressure will be just below the tip.

I own neither, but have looked at them both extensively, and if had to choose it would be the Tiger. One big plus, to me, and as Rayster pointed out, is that the tip is centered with the handle. Also, I'm a fan of the grip, which to my eyes, looks identical to the CQC - 13.

I have a CSF love the ergo and blade shape, it's well balanced and very comfortable in hand. If I have to choose it'd be the CSF.

I'm ordering CSF I already have a 13 and the tiger looks awesome, but I like the Bowie style blade with that handle design. Plus CSF is lighter and smaller length wise. The open ended design works better for me for everyday tasks.

I am a cqc15 fan in every way. The blade shape and lower belly of the Tiger is great. That said, the Tiger has a similar grip to the 15 but has the finger choil I dont care for on the Tiger. It separates my index and middle finger and I dont like that nearly as much as the cqc15 grip. YRMV.

CSF. Had a Tiger, the grip didn't work for my hand.

CSF is definitely an awesome edc design. Smaller carry. I prefer the Tiger, however. In fact, the Tiger has taken its place as my favorite knife I have owned. It is a little large in the handle for edc, though.

Tiger's are also a single detent system. The Combat System Fighter is a double detent. Tiger is a little shorter of a cutting edge but the handle is very secure on pulling cuts. The Roadhouse style handle is just not for me, same for the 15 too.

Ha! Just the reverse for me Rayster... the Roadhouse and 15 fit me just right--especially the Roadhouse. Nice that EKI has variety!
