That micarta is some hazardous stuff to work with. I haven't yet worked up the courage to play around with it. Nice looking blade though. I had been tossing around with getting a 2 or a 9, next, and this has convinced me that the 2 is the way to go. What did you use to colour the handle? I've been waning to make mine a little greener.

This particular set was dyed when I bought em from a bf member, but I've used leather dye before

so heres the basic pattern that i sketched on the 9's micarta in a snakeskin, scale, effect. so i need advice now, do i sand the outline of the scale making the whole scale protrude, or do i sand out the scale and make the outline protrude?
