Get excited! Just saw (( not a paid BF Dealer )) exclusive Tiger Stripe Blur!

Anyone ever mix and match blades and handles of any of their blurs or other knives? Certainly in would probably void the warranty, but I imagine you could make some pretty sweet combinations. Anyone ever see a blur with a rainbow finished blade? That would be kinda neet.

To me I don't think adding stripes is worth that price.. Hell the CF CPM154 one coming out is almost the same price.. but then again it is pretty awesome looking.. I'd buy it if it didnt come in retail packing.. I love my boxes

I agree that the price is a little too steep for what it is, but I love Kershaw and I love (( not a paid BF Dealer )) so I got excited. Just wanted to share my finding.

The old composite blade Blur with its copper braze line looks great in an orange handle. This is a pretty expensive combination these days since both were discontinued long ago.

I haven't seen one yet, but I think ANY blade swapped in to one of the Snap-On CF Blurs would like better than with the big SNAP-ON across the blade. The tiger stripe would look good in either of those, but at $300+ for that combination that's a hard thing to do. If there are some green CF blems eventually out this will likely happen to a few. I think those would look great.

I agree. The Snap-On CF blurs or the new CF blur would look pretty sweet with a composite blade. It might be fun to pick up some blems to mix and match blades and handles. Wouldn't have to worry about warranty issues and you could make some nice looking edc knives.

Im going to be patient and wait until (( not a paid BF Dealer )) puts them on sale. Or a blem would be good.

Hmmm.......usually the "X" at the end of the part number denotes "clam shell" packaging. Good to know they are coming with boxes. BTW that looks GREAT Hal!

Yea (( not a paid BF Dealer )) is ridiculous on their knife prices. Of course it doesn't help that it's an exclusive to them. I had hopes of it being in the $70-$80 range when they were released. Gonna hold off on this one for awhile I think.

This is the only reason I want one, to have a OD TS Blur. Thanks for sharing the pic, I been wanting to see how the combo looked. It looks awesome. Man I want to carry that blur around.

It will lower the price if its a franken blur, $100 for the 1670BLKTSX and $50 for the 1670ODBLK, Swap blades and its now only $75 each. :)

Still a great knife though, especially since I only paid shipping (thank you Visa rewards!). ;)
