TIGER, tiger, burning bright...

Awesome photos and knives. The Trailblazer chopper, the second knife form the top in the third photo, is a winner....from the looks of it anyway. Just added another knife to the want list.

Plus now I know some poetry!

I'd like to take a moment here and explain to folks just how nasty this particular steel is to finish... it will hold an errant scratch like mad, is pretty much untouched by anything other than the most expensive of grinding supplies, and I think actually has a personal vendetta against me.
It's one of my favorite as well as my most reviled knife steels. This blade looks great - I tip my hat to you, Mr. Ochs.

Matthew,
Thank you, I must agree that the 3V is a real bear to work and finish, so it is especially gratifying to have another maker firmiliar with the stuff notice the work. :)

Very nice work Eric!

Great pics/review Lorien

Thanks Stabber! and Lorien did get some great shoots, I agree.

Glad to hear you say that. Those are the best compliments.

Also, I have been thinking that my line-up is a bit sparse in the 8-10" range. As there has been quite a bit of interest in this bad boy I was actually planning on doing a slightly smaller sleeker version. Which would incorporate the refinements of the prototype? These refinements are pretty minor and will not noticably change the look but will make the handle even more comfortable during heavy chopping and add slightly more power and control.

Best to All,
Eric
