Tiger Eye has always fascinated me. The way the colors change depending on the light, from the warm iridescent gold to the deep earthy browns. So I figured I should make a knife with Tigers Eye inlays and see if others were equally as interested.
This slip joint is 3 1/4 inches closed, 5 3/4 inches open. The blade and back spring are 154CPM. The body of the knife has integral bolsters front and back made out of 416 stainless. And the inlays are Tigers Eye.
This one is waiting for a new owner to appreciate the depth of the Tigers Eye and the snappy walk and talk. Flush in all three positions and centered on closing with no blade play.
I use a Dellana dot for the opening grip. I find it works easier than a nail nick and also makes the knife ambidextrous.
