Tight fit on lock back folder

I am trying to make a standard type lock back folder and the blade wobbles or moves a little in the locked position. At first I thought I just didn't file correctly and that's likely part of it but then I saw a cheap lock back from China for $3.00 in a sporting goods store and it locked tight even though the work was very rough. So........ I figure there must be two points of contact that are critical- get those right and you're good to go.

On the tang, the notch, should the upper corners angle in a little so that those are the two points that contact the lever. I think the same thing would happen if the notch is perfectly square and the lever portion is tapered slightly so that it enters the notch and then stops at those two points. I have the pivot pin hole pretty much in line with the back of the notch.

I'm not an artist, just learning and want to get a tight fit if possible. Any help appreciated. ::o
