Ugh I only originally wanted one...then I bought a second cause it was too cheap to pass...then I thought I needed a klvuk for abuse work...now I'm getting a dbvuk to compliment my klvuk...and I'm seriously considering asking auntie for a custom job, unless I find a tasty curve spine or m43 on the DOTD.
Or maybe do both...

I got what you were saying. I have an ideal when a shipment with some like I missed will arrive, so I'm trying to wait till then to order. Did good for a while, then wham, one comes up I had to have.

Man that sucks. One of them deals you can't do much about. No helping ya neither less I was rich or something. Sometimes even in country shipping is a deal breaker for me.

Haha the only help I need is positive reinforcement brother! Yeah I may moan and complain...but then when I think about it... $120 for a hand made knife which I love...it's really not much to ask haha
I'm surprised you haven't asked the missus to move closer to auntie with you to save on shipping costs

Actually I have asked and she's ready to go. I'd like to go but being a wheelchair derelict I'm semi afraid to leave my support structure here. my mom is aging as am I an I should stay close least for awhile.

Ask aunty to hold your Kukri. Once you have bought 10 she can ship them all together which should be a bit cheaper than 10 single shipments.
Or you make a trip to the US. If you buy 100 Kukris the money you save on shipping should cover your ticket. Just make sure on luggage limits of your airline.

Congrats man! That would of been my first choice between all of them. DBVUK's are something special, even more so than the KLUVK's IMHO. The fuller work is amazing as is the smooth hammer mark free blades. They really are the cats meow.

Jens: yeah good idea, although imagine the size of the triangle box! Lol that and Australia is on high terror alert atm, I don't know how customs would like receiving 10 khukuries in the post lol might think I'm a terrorist ringleader hahaha
GB: yeah I fell in love with it when I saw it. I thought "yep that one. Buy it. Buy it now" then you gave yours so much praise, I knew it had to be mine lol it jus looks impeccable. No offense to keshar lal but bahadurs look a bit better refined, smoother lines, better grind, all round amazing.
