Tilley hats - highly recommended

Damn, 40 and I'm already over the hill!! :D

I have two Tilleys which I really like. For the summer I have a T4 in Natural with a three colored band.

For the winter I have a Tilley Winter Hat in Charcoal grey.

Both hats have served me well . . .

I work outdoors and the 90 degree cloudless days get to me anymore. I bought my first tilley this last year and wear it quite a bit. I like it alot and wash it quite often. It is holding up great. I even bought a second for "dress" occasions or at least when I need a clean one :)

13erk, Makes a key point I think we all know but
just don't use often enough.

REAL quality is by far cheaper in the long run.

Tilly and other products in the quality realm are
all to often overshadowed by smooth talking "fashion" guru's that sell sh!t packaged as gold.

For me I buy once if I can and use it 'till it falls apart:D

If you can live with the higher original cost, total ownership costs of a quality product in the long run are really cheaper overall. Yes, ~$60 is a lot for a cotton hat but, it beats the heck out of cheaper flimsy hats and, it just feels good wearing a quality piece of clothing. This is true of socks, shirts and, pants too. :)

I'm sure this isn't my last Tilley purchase.
