TiLock to be discontinued...

Nice collection!
Aspiring to do the same myself

Great choice, imo the Ti-lock is the most underrated knife CR made. My decision to collect the 'annuals' is both based on how it looks as wel as how it handles&carries.
Very sheeple-friendly design, most people consider it 'functional art' rather than a weapon

I was on the fence for a while and decided to pull the trigger.

So far this was the BEST knife decision I've made in 2017!

Anyone have leads on where to find one of these now? I have an upcoming event that I need to pick out a gift for and this is high on the wish list!

I really enjoyed playing with these at the local knife shop, but at the time I was more into flippers. Nowadays I appreciate more than just a great flipping action.

I think you're probably out of luck finding any of the models at this time. They are sold out everywhere and those of us that have them don't want to get rid of them.

I just looked around and couldn't find anything. Last one I saw shipped from KSF a month or so ago and I had the chance to buy it but didn't know they were discontinued. Ouch. Maybe eBay or the exchange?

I'm sorry if this information has already been shared, but I called CRK today to make sure they would have the parts to service the ti-lock in the future. They assured me they would, and also said they had a fair amount of mammoth left to service those knives should anything happen. Angela was also clear to say it is not an unlimited supply, but on the other hand, they have not had to service a mammoth scale for more than 3 years.

Hope this information helps.

The day I started this thread I picked up the only one that our local b&m retailer had in stock, also the only one that they had received this year...it was an expensive week. The reason I was looking up TiLocks that day was that I had just become the proud "owner" of one of the early ones with blasted scales, thanks to a fellow BF member.
But then the person on the phone did say that they were discontinuing them "later this year"...perhaps one can hope for one last run...

All of the "In Motion" Ti-Locks are spoken for IIRC..but that could include dealer orders too

TNK still has at least one "In Motion" left on their site.
Looks like I got the last one. Showing out of stock now. Thanks for the info. I've been looking for this one, but couldn't find anyone with it in stock.

I haven't been thrilled by most CRK designs, this isn't a knock against them merely stating they don't scream to me, but the TiLock was one that did but my window has/is closing my only hope is local vendors that carry CRK still having one or two and then the 2ndary market.

I bought the very first 'In Motion' annual delivered to the public, back in April before they announced it was being discontinued.
I consider it the classiest version of the Ti-lock, and really appreciate the elegant styling.

It does initially take an open mind to accept the unique lock design, but I have no issues with it now. I've learned how to flick it open (with a slight wrist action), but also how to use the little barbell to open it comfortably, or just rotate it open with a bit of thumb pressure on the side of the blade.

Just received my 2nd Ti-Lock, the In Motion, thanks to Glock Guy's info. This thing is a great looking knife. It will be a pleasure to use for years to come. On a side note, it came with a leather pouch. I am guessing that is because it's an annual, my other is not.
