I was recently for my first US knifeshow visit in Arkansas as the A.G. Russell Knife Event. And I bought a slipjoint by Tim Britton.

I'm surprised that he doesn't get mentioned more but I though I'd share some pictures that I took at the show. I'll take some pictures of the one I bought later and share them as well.

Does anyone else have any favourites by him?

You can't tell because of the light but the top one is MOP.

Swayback anyone? I was really tempted by this one

A trio of his pattern called "avatar" in Pearl and with engraved bolsters....very nice. The sold as a set I think.

Some more Avatars, I got myself a medium one in Goldlip Pearl

They're smaller than the picture suggests but oh so nice.

This is the small version of the bullet lock. I think it's just a little smaller than a GEC #72

Tim makes a superb knife, I have yet to pick one up, but I will. Thanks for the pics.

Tim Britton makes some nice knives. I'm really tempted to get one of his serpentine jacks with stag scales. Some day.

Did you pick up a knife?

Well...if you hurry...I believe it was still available at the end of the show. It's not on his website...but I'm sure that if you shoot him an e-mail....

Tim makes a great knife, especially for the price. I have a 1 blade trapper and a large bullet lockback.

I bought a beautiful red stag trapper last year for my birthday and it is everything I hoped for, highly recommended.

Tim Britton has been making knives for over 35 years. He is one of the nicest guys you'd ever want to meet. I love his trappers and baby bullet knives.

Great looking knives! I'd be partial to the EO's and those Avatars. Nice looking gnarly stag too

I normally like my clips to have a little more meat to them but man oh man does that wharnie secondary look amazing!

I guess that I almost missed this thread. Here is my swayback from Tim:

It's a nice knife in green micarta and BG-42. Blade is about 3". Anyway, I haven't posted much lately, but come to read the new posts almost every day and continue to learn from you all.
