This is a truly magnificent Bowie by the legendary American Bladesmith Tim Hancock MS.
I can assure you that as good as the photos are they do not do the Knife justice. I have scoured my brain for words to describe it , but it is extremely difficult. If this was a person I would describe her as having an "old soul", it just looks and feels as though it has always been. It has a tremendous presence, the idea was to create a deep, understated piece with just enough "highlights" to remind the keeper of the heritage and skill that went into making it. I discussed the piece with Tim when it arrived and we both agreed that it holds a undefinable authority combined with a timeless energy.
Tims fit and finish is as close to perfect as you can get, and this particular piece is one of the best in my collection without question.
It will be a huge wrench letting this one go but I have need of the funds for a less self orientated project.
