I got my Sure Fire Executive this morning in the mail that I ordered from Tim at Nor east knives. It is a neat little piece. I am sure glad I bought it. Here's the story:
My wife and I took off work early to carry our son Caleb to the doctor (in Chapel Hill, NC). We took him and as usual had to wait forever. I showed my new toy (Sure fire light) to my wife as we waited. She said ,"oh just what we needed, another flashlight". Well, I proved to her later that it was "just what we needed". We went over to University Mall to eat supper at K&W. After that we went to a toy store that my son (really I) like to go to. We were playing with the train set and the lights went out then came back on then went out for good(found out later that there was a construction accident and all of Chapel Hill and part of Durham had a major power outage). It was about 5:45 pm I guess and it was already dark outside. Well, this store didn't have emergency lights (the mall didn't either) and we couldn't see anything. My wife freaked out and we couldn't find our son. I quickly remembered the Sure Fire and pulled it from my pocket (I had it clipped where I usually have my knife) and turned it on. We found Caleb and got the heck out of the mall. It was a mad house. You couldn't see anything there without a light. We went outside and there was a man probably in his 80's that could hardly walk trying to find his car (it was as dark outside the mall as inside). I took out the Executive and helped him look for his car and after about 30 minutes we found it. We got in the truck and started back home. The Sure Fire didn't help with the stoplights that where out, but it was a lifesaver inside and outside the mall. I want to thank Tim for such a neat product. I will probably be buying another one for my wife's purse as she now says,"you know, I might need one of those one day when you aren't with me". I think every stocking should have one of these little lights in them this Christmas. Thanks Tim.
