New from Timberline Knives is the Kelly Worden tactical folders. This is a production version of the WorTac custom made by Pat and Wes Crawford. Timberlinie's versions are available in 3" and 4" blade sizes. Materials are AUS-8 blades, 420J2 liners, molded Zytel scales, with a handle spacer made of 6061 T6 aluminum.

The big one reminds me a lot of the CRKT Kasper - big folder, massive ergonomic handle - very flat. Blades are easy to deploy. Both models are very well made - fit and finish are top notch, and both blades sport even grinds and a perfect factory edge.

Looking for bang for the buck? You got it right here with these

These have been my biggest sellers since I became a dealer. They really do offer a lot of bang for the buck. A nice alternative for those of us that wanted to see Columbia River use a slightly better steel.

Hi Dennis - just curious, which size have you sold the most of? Thanks!

I ordered a large one from Dennis and it should be here tomorrow. I'll post some comments about it when I get it. They are made in the same factory as the CRKTs and look to be some very good quality knives for the money.

Thanks for the pics Dex. This one looks like one of the all time bargains of production knives.

Michael,
Please do give a quick report when you receive yours.

Go to your closest knife dealer and see if he has one of these babies. I just got mine in the mail today from Dennis Bible and it is one slick folder. I will definitely be getting the small one soon. You can't go wrong with these knives. Top quality all the way. I had a real Crawford Wortac and I don't see anything about this one that isn't as good as the real one except for the price. You won't go wrong with this one.

Believe it or not I have been selling more of the large ones. I would say that it also has a lot to do with the fact that I haven't been able to get any small plain edge ones yet. Most of my customers so far have preferred plain edge.

Looks like a wasp-waisted REKAT Crawford Carnivore. Great design. Liner lock though.

I agree with Steve- I love the design, but I sure would like to see Timberline or CRK&T incorporate the Axis Lock. What an incredible combo that would be! They could leave everything else the same, charge double, and I would still buy a Wortac and a KFF for myself, some for my family, more for my friends and training partners, and recommend them to all my students and to anyone on the street who would stop to listen to me rant...

And I don't think that I'm alone here.
