Timberline VLL fails spine-whack test miserably

I just tried the spine-whack test with my Timberline VLL, and with very little force, it repeatedly closes up. I was shocked by this, because this knife has been great so far. This is my first liner lock to fold up like this.

aramis: Call their customer service and send it back. When a knife fails a spine whack test, you will never ever trust that knife again.

I recently had a new folder fail the same way, with just a gentle whack. I was absolutely shocked. It was the first folder I ever had which failed. I know how you feel.
