To pass on to someone who has never had a Spyderco, I'd select a plainedged Calypso Jr.

(I have to admit that a Navigator or Dragonfly wouldn't be hard find homes for either.

) But I think the Calypso Jr. is a superb knife to give someone who doesn't yet know what it is to be a knife knut.

If the odds are a million to one against something occurring, chances are 50-50 it will.

Calypso Jr. Plain, please.

Sal...

In the spirit of your original post, if I win I promise to give the knife to my father, who's never had a Spyderco, but soon will, win or not.

Thanks

Dom

Michael Walker lite weight - plain edge Almite.

Calypso Jr. - Plain edge - I will donate this to a poor friend who wants a knife but can't afford a good one.

I wouldn't let him buy a Spyderco knockoff at the last gun show, so he bought some UGLY thing from Frost that looks like nothing anyone would want to sell, much less buy.

A plain edge almite Walker if you please Sal

Don't worry that the world might end tomorrow....in Australia it's tomorrow already.

Native lightweight - plain - which I will pass on to a friend who is not into knives (yet!) but saw mine this weekend and said it was "neat"...
