Time for a gaw

Best advice I have for raising kids is don't ever undermine each other as parents. Whether you think your wife is overreacting on a punishment (or vice versa) or task given, support each other as a united front. Make the kiddos go outside, always say please, thank you, yes ma'am, yes sir etc. They will realize at a very young age that respect is earned, and being respectful will get them much farther in life than any other skill.

Never go to bed on a argument,settle before you sleep.

Children need boundary’s it’s better for them or they are confused.

my hobby is my motorcycle and travelling/road trips.
When I can’t do it anymore it will be devastating.

Read to your kids, untill they can read for themselves.
You‘re not there friend. They need a parent. You will be there friend when they no longer need a parent.

The family is the key to survival.
 
I’m in, if you haven’t drawn yet.

I have had too many hobbies. Some people skip around from hobby to hobby, but I collect them. I like photography, guitars, carving, pottery, drawing, making knives, writing, lifting weights, running, playing tennis, dance, shooting, hunting, hunting dogs, cooking, and reading. Been trying to thin that out recently.

I wish I liked gardening, but I really don’t. My yard suffers for it.

Love your kids. Just love them with all you have, and cherish your time with them.

Court your wife every day. Set aside time just to take care of her. Do chores without making a big deal of it.

Set aside time to take care of you, too.

I’m in, if still time.

Well my other hobby and passions are woodworking and firearms.

The woodworking is the way I make my living and I’m thankful for a job that allows me to work from my own home, my own shop. My little guy can come to the shop and help. He stands on the work table and helps me hammer plugs in screw holes.

I appreciate the chance to enter and share. It’s nice hearing all the stories and advice others have shared.

I did some quick reading on the Primble knife. I’d never heard of them. That’s pretty cool, being from Kentucky, but the really neat thing for me is the interest in commerce and the industrial revolution.

Thanks for the fun thread and congratulations to the winners. I’d never heard of primble knives and it’s neat to learn about a new to me maker. I’ll have to be on the lookout for one now

Every one of these knives is tempting, but the Camillus what-a-knife is just very neat and has been on my radar awhile now so it's the natural choice to me.

Yes correct. So far its down to the primble left and the schrade. Just waiting to hear from eveled eveled so as of now you still have a chance at the primble
