Depending on how long you plan on keeping this computer, you may get crippled DVD playback in a few years. The media companies have chosen a terrible and insecure "security" system called HDCP. Every component in the chain has to be HDCP complaint or the resolution is downgraded. And not downgraded cleanly.
This means HDCP compliant DVD player, video card and monitor. If someone ever hacks your model of any of those components, future content is automatically downgraded to the lowest resolution. This is also true for non-PC components.
