Time for a reality check...

100% behind you... Do what you gotta do.

-I will do what i can to help you, with low ball offers on some of your users...
-3 times in life now (two child births, and one horrid medical diagnosis), I have 'liquidated' much of my toys (guns, knives, cars, etc). It sucks, and rebuilding can suck, but you do it smarter/more selectively and with more appreciation each time.
-Personally, I say work less, minimize toys, and maximize family time...
-Good luck to you

There may be some folks out there that would allow you to buy back kinves when things improve.

Some free internet advice.

Selling stuff to makes ends meet does not work.

Selling stuff to reduce debt can work with a behavior change.

Getting a second job is not as good a Idea as getting a Better 1st job.

Getting a second job makes it harder to get a better first job.

Good luck man...

It is good advice. I thought I had our debt under control, but then I had some setbacks (some my fault, some not). I'm working on the behavior change end of it, the only problem is that since I'm married I really need my wife to get on board as well for it to work.

In the middle of a reorganization at work. Depending on my "new" job I may either go back to school (part time) or try to find something else. I've got 10 years in with the state and just started drawing an annual "longevity" check. I really want to try to stay within the state system. Considering applying for a job as a police officer. Trainee rate is @what I make now, but starting pay is about $3-5K more per year. Not sure it'd be worth it for the stress, hours, and toll it would take on the family.

P.S. Homeseller, if you know someone who'd be willing to help out, let me know.

You can tell from the forums that a lot of the long therm HOGS buy and are willing to sell back to the original owner when they are ready. Lots depends on what you have and what you want for it...a number of folsk I think use sale or trade and then see who responds. I can not speak for the "guys" when I buy it give it to OP and he makes up his own mind.
