No seki yet. I just like the way the PM2 fits my hand for a folder both size and shapeDefinitely go with one that gives you something you don't have, sounds like you need a good middle ground steel between the 2. Maybe the salt in magnacut?
Also do you have any seki knives? Maybe try a endela or endura or stretch 2?
TO ALL WHO REPLIED MAGNACUT:Since the OP has Cruwear for high toughness and S110V for high wear resistance then my suggestion is the magnacut PM2 for high corrosion resistance and moderate toughness and wear resistance.
How about Magnacut for corrosive environments? The steel should perform similarly to Cruwear, but be practically rust proof. If you are happy with DLC and the milled G10 pattern, that is...
you got a link to anyone with it in stock? Looks out just about everywhere. I do actually like that handle. Different than the norm
Id say I've just found it to be my knife as a folder. I prefer fixed blades in general for bushcraft and back country especially. Less chance of a broken blade imoIf you're lucky enough to have found the PM2 to be "your knife" then slowly work your way through all the available steels in that platform. Or do it quickly if you have the cash. Then work your way through all the handle scales and then custom scales... Lot's of options all on the same platform.
Edit- I just listed a PM2 in S45VN in the Exchange
You might want to place a pre order from one of the great sites- I think they are going to sell quickly. I am looking forward to getting mine.If anyone sees a magnacut in stock somewhere please link it here. Been looking but havnt seen it
I think given the choice a fixed blade is the choice of most. It’s that “civilized society” thing that gives us all these cool folders.Id say I've just found it to be my knife as a folder. I prefer fixed blades in general for bushcraft and back country especially. Less chance of a broken blade imo
I agree completely. I typically carry a fixed blade. Prefer it. Ive worked on sites that only allow folders out of safety concern so I've had to learn to adapt as needed thereI think given the choice a fixed blade is the choice of most. Insane. What other company can you get a knife anywhere close for 150 bucks?FYI - Spyderco dropped the Para 3 LW in 15v (Knife Center $153)
They will be hard to get IMO when the run sells out. Great Summer carry knife!
The drop was this morning... Better than the secondary pricing.

$215 for a 15V blade, in a top notch American G10 folder, is still a value!Big price difference between the Para 3 15V Lightweight FRN for $153.75 and Para 3 15V G-10 for $215.63.
