Well i have been itching to do another knife making how to video(s) to put on my site. so now i need your input on what you want to see, it can be something new or maybe redoing an old video. I am planning on in the future doing a full start to finish knife video one of these days to put on my site. I just need some ideas on what you want to see. now that i have got my shop space cleared out it can be shot in a good location.

Jarod,
I watched your videos and they were quite helpful to me. I had not seen anyone go into detail like that on hollow grinding. As a newbie who is yet to try my first blade, I would find it useful to have descriptions of the different types of grinds, bevel angles and how to determine when to use them.

Thanks,
Jeff

I haven't watched your videos for a while, so forgive me if you've already done this, but how about flat grinding bevels and getting in nice and close (maybe from above the blade/grinder?) with the shot. Also, specifics on how to create even, symmetrical plunges would be helpful to me.

Thanks!

One more request/suggestion if I may: grinding things flat/square. For example, flattening blade bevels after grinding on a disk or platen or flattening a ricasso on a forged blank on disk or platen.

Each time I've tried flattening something, I end up with a taper top to bottom (or is it bottom to top, can never remember) on disk or platen.

Hey...I figure it was worth a shot.

Hi Jarod, It'd be very interesting to see how the receiver lugs are cut for your .50 cal project.

Take care, Craig

How to taper a tang would be cool, also how to attach guards properly.

it would be a nice video if you showed how to put the handle on a hidden tang knife especially the end cap and various options for the cap
