Time out of the rat race...

I am keeping the worms well fed, just in case I need to mail them off to the bastages that hacked my e-mail account while I was away...!!!!!!!

Sorry to hear, mate. That's a pisser--hope you're back in action pronto.

Will, you saw that as well did ya? I had a Win. 70, .338win. mag., Magna-Poted & I LOVED that thing.

When I first saw the ports I thought it was Mag-Na-Porting, but wasn't familiar with Mag-Na-Port slots milled on the underside of the muzzle--just topside. Nice to learn.

Thanks guys... it is certainly nice out there (except in the middle of summer....then it is like Hell's Oven !!!). They need some rain though, and soon.!!! More hogs there than I have seen in years...!!! And the deer looked great. There had been people staying there for a full two weeks before I arrived so the deer were well flighty !!! Hence no pics... ;) Oh...and feral goats...lots and lots of feral goats.....!!!!!!

Interesting tale from this same property. Just got an email from a mate who spent 10 days there at the start of November. Over a period of four days there where 4 Mulga Snakes (also know as King Browns) in or around the house. One in an old stereo cabinet in the sleeping room (shot out as the noise it was making was being inspected). One departed a bedroom out a side door. One very large one came out from under the house and retreated there when it realised it was going between a pair of boots. And the final one was killed in the kitchen where it was raised and striking at the mate when he walked in...!! Talk about s%&ting bricks !!!

All were slightly different colours and sizes so as not to be mistaken for each other....

Fantastic trip, one forgets just how huge Australia is.

Where are you planning to visit on your Safari trip? Any chance that you might make it down to Cape Town? If so be sure and be in touch.

Most of the time I will be in Moz, in and out via Joburg (staying on a few days after I come back out of Moz). Unfortunately I probably wont get down to Cape Town.

Andy amazing pics as always. Glad you got some time to get away from the craziness of life.

If you are interested in meeting some South African knife makers when you are in Johannesburg shoot me a PM and I will make it happen for you.

I spend a fortune of time in Johannesburg so if I can be of any help please do not hesitate to ask:)
