Well, it's been a while, so I figured I'd pick up another Sebbie and give it another go. This time, however, I went with a small. Should be here tomorrow, and I can't wait!!! I hope I'm satisfied with the small this time, or else I'm gonna have to find me a large one, because the Sebenza is a MUST in everyone's collection. besides, I miss stjames & Johnnyquest poking fun at me.

Couple of questions though to re-fresh me...it's been a while. When and why did they start using polished screws on the plains? Was their a lock bar modification other than the clip cutout? How do you guys like the new clip? My baby was born on 5/?/00, so I have the cutout, and my last large had this, so I know I won't be disappointed. Well, glad to be back, and I hope to stick around a while longer this time around.

Small, plain, new standard model. It was that, or a large 2000 classic with polished blade...but I'm not sure about the classic yet. I just gotta keep tellin myself, bigger isn't always better.

I gotta get away from this truck mentality.

Ah, this must mean you aren't going to risk carrying that Commander! Smart move. Your fingers say thanks! Ha!Ha!

I've been carrying a small Sebenza for a couple of months now and it is EXCELLENT. The new clip works great and doesn't chew up your pocket. The size is perfect for everyday carry. Of course, the fit and finish are excellent.

Also, after it finally gets dull a few swipes on a ceramic crock V sharpener brings the edge back with no effort at all, so don't worry about ruining that nice factory edge!

Well, I traded it lastnight for one of "our" small CGG 2 High Mix!!! Love it...and I'm keeping the fob on it...that's a first for me.

To hell with the Commander.

I also scoped out the larges...and I prefer the small after all.

A folder should be 3 1/2" to 4".
Less won`t cut that Turinger. More is unhandy in a pocket.
For those that care; 4" is the concealed limit here.
Go with a FB if you need more.

Hi Adam.
