Here's my only peanut. One like dalee100's. Dalee, how are the springs on yours? Mine are a bit easy compared to the Cases I have handled.

Mhawk, love that one with the bail:thumbup:

Hi,

Mine is easy to open but not lazy. I'd say about a 4 or 5 my my scale of 1 to 10. But the half-stops are crisp and accurate. Yours looks in a bit better shape than mine. Mine is turning dark with mottled spots on the blades.

I've got to look into finding a Schrade or two from the looks of the beauties thawk has posted.

Yeah those Schrades look nice. Mine's 4-5 also, and slightly crisp. Mine has a few spots, looks to be unsharpened, and the rear scale has some minor shrinkage near the top bolster, and some dark spots on the springs.

Presently I only have one (have gone through more than several, and end up gifting them to friends). I really like this one but wish it were in Queens excellent 1095 which I can get real sharp:D

Sadly, I have only one at this point... but she's a beauty!

Unknown....bone is worn pretty smooth on this one as well. I don't know who made this one.

EDIT: A fine and upstanding member with considerable knowledge pointed out to me this is not a peanut. It is a small jack. I'm leaving it here anyway. :p

The Camillus and the Kabar have almost identical jigging on the synthetic scales.

I wonder if they farmed out the scales to the same molding company, or did some collaberation thing, or the mold maker sold the same molds to both companies.

I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure Camillus made the Kabar.

I love Peanuts. Instead of individual shots, I will post a family shot.
