Time to lighten the mood

I'm an assistant manager at a coffee shop and a Psychology student. I'm slowly getting everyone in my shop toting a knife. I'm not quite sure that this is a good idea though

Art director for an specific account in an Ad Agency in Fort Lauderdale...

but I have been in the Navy, firearms instructor, graphic designer (in Venezuela)

I spent 10 years in the U.S. Coast Guard as a flight mechanic/crew chief on HH-3F helicopters in Alaska and Florida/Bahamas. We did a lot of drug interdiction in the islands (when not drinking and having fun ;) ). I wish Ernie had the SARK in production when I was still serving (I left in '95) because there were a couple of times I NEEDED IT!!!!

:(

Now I live in Coeur d' Alene and work for the Spokane County Engineers as a CE tech/inspector for sewers and roads.

Question-Does Ernie crush the knife boxes himself or does that happen during shipping?

I'm a 14 year police officer (16 to go :( ) in Southern Calif. I am currently a full time flight officer in a helicopter. I am assigned to our SWAT team as a firearms instructor and armorer. I have previously worked a lot of patrol, and was a bicycle cop for about 3 1/2 years. I got myself appointed as an edged weapons instructor recently as well (tax write offs for knives-perfect). I worked for many years in the police equipment industry, and write for a few of the gun rags once in awhile. I used to do a bunch of PI work for some very large corporations, but life has been too hectic lately. Overall-major gear queer.

I retired from Law Enforcement after 21 years of service. After playing golf for about 3 years I decided to go back to work.

I hired on as a Claims Adjuster for a Insurance Company and just recently got promoted to a Bodily Injury Claims Specialist.

Excuse the shamless plug here, but I also just got back from Tampa Florida yesterday, where I was awarded the "Claims Professional Of the Year Award" My wife and I were flown down and given the royal treatment and I had to give a acceptance speech before a large gathering.

Shown here, (if it loads is a photo of the award that was bestowed upon me).

Bows down at Nyeti's feet chanting, "We're Not Worthy, We're Not Worthy !" :D

Well...

After having my left leg badly crushed and very nearly severed in an on the job accident on September 11, 1999 (note the date)
(I was a lowly security sgt at a major trucking company who had the misfortune of playing the peanut butter to a '64 T'bird and 30 ton semi-truck sandwich), I have found myself trapped on the disabled list for over two years now. In order to keep from going completely batty in my boredom I have finally had the chance to go back to one of my true loves, sculpture (mainly stone carving). I'm also learning to etch and engrave glass and metal and have actually managed to get a couple of commissions for a few pieces. But, of course, I've also gotten to spend time playing with sharp objects :D

As for what I'll do when they finally decide to let me go back to work..... who knows... maybe by then I'll have enough commissions to just stick with my art ;)

Don, congratulations again. Nice looking award.

I'm a rocket scientist!! :) Actually, I'm the National Sales & Marketing director for American Auto Accessories / 3A Racing Performance. We manufacture & distribute automotive accessories & performance bolt-on products to the major automotive retailers in the US. Pep Boys, AutoZone, Discount Auto, CSK, Keystone, Advance Auto. We even sold to Caldor & BJ's at one time.

I have a meeting in LA this weekend, so my position & company may change. To top it off. I just got called for appointment by the Nassau County Police Department from a test which I took 6 years ago. They're going to start my background investigation. We'll see how it pans out.

I'm a law student, and for cash I work at a Deli. I hate my job. I'm Jewish, and I have to deal with Ham and assorted pig meat 3-4 days a week.

I never use my Emersons at work. I consider them weapons, not working knives. I have a spydercard for boxes and other assorted work.

I'm unemployed, have been studying for a few years, not too sure which studies (if any) i will pursue right now though.

Managed to sneak in a trip to Bosnia in the summer of -99, military work is where my heart is at, but that's not happening here :(

Been on sick pay for a few weeks, managed to open an old injury in my knee, it dislocated when i jumped from a truck :(
I tonight i managed to dislocate it AGAIN (how i did that is a secret only known to a few special people...;) ), so i got back from intensive care about 90 minutes ago, i was so hyped up on the endorphine dump my eyes looked like basketballs, the kind people in the chat helped to get my mind of it :)

Will get x-ray tomorrow, i was scheduled to have surgery in the end of this month, which i'm sure will be even more fitting now :(

Well, that did sound depressing! not so, i got knives to play with, people to chat with :)

I realised i had too many sad smileys in my last post, i'm just bad-happy as always, see:

Just naughty me...
