I just sent in a blitz around 9:20, which may have been good enough for the 9:15 "GO" posted on the Busse website. Email will tell if it was good or, "offsides". Is there a red "review" flag on this deal???

Usually anything before the go is thrown out. Anything after is in play. I bet it's gonna take a while to decode this one though. :D
 
I was way late.... 29:30 not smart enough to remember the Busse Combat forum.... oh well... live and learn.... :rolleyes:

Monday morning in my time-zone, so I cleared up all my appointments to be able to watch the Super Bowl and participate in my first Extravaganzaaaaa... :D

I prepared my email to Jerry & Garth and stored in my outbox minutes before the "Go Button" window, and when I saw the "Go Button" thread on Busse Combat forum (Blade Forum was busy), I sent the email....

I now see my email time-stamps at 08:43 (Garth) and 08:49 (Jerry), which are the time I prepared and constructed the email, and not the time I sent them. Is this the time-stamp you guys are referring to...? :confused:

Oh crap....did I screw up? :grumpy: Was I disqualified...? :confused:

Check your sent items folder. That will give you the stamp being referred to. :thumbup:

I use Eudora email program. Got the time-stamp from the sent outbox.

I should have contructed the email after the "Go" thread, instead of having it prepared earlier. It looks like I screwed up....

Oh well....
 
Hah!! I got you all beat, mine is 0233 (that's 2133 to you stateside types). Of course the power here went out for awhile, our internet connection is slow, it was late and I was tired, I got lots of 'scuses...Well, I guess that just means I'll have more money for next time...
 
I got my order in at 9:16:56

It looks like that is about 90 to 120 sec after the GO post.
I went for one of the following in this order

ZTBM page 2
SJT 4
SJT 10
BIBB page 1

The first three will be very hard to snag, really high demand. I think I am really on the bubble to get one of them. I will prob get my 4th choice, the BIBB. I can't wait to find out what I got (if anything LOL)
 
It occurred to me last night that one could have 30 or more emails lined up and just start firing them off during the 30 minute window at regular intervals.

Scatter shot approach. Seems like it ought to disqualify you, but I bet somebody tried it.

I waited till I saw the "GO" post, but I also bet some folks just shot blindly when the BF server was overloaded. Probably more than one of them got lucky.

And this was after 20 minutes of hitting F5 that I decided that "Hey maybe I'll check the company site." If I can't get in how the heck is Jerry going to? Lo and behold there was the Go button.
 
Damn, I didn't see until today that the "GO" was posted on the Busse Combat forum site at 9:15 and not until 9:29 here where I was watching!
