Time to upgrade the BK2 and give it a couple of Maple burl Scales

ok more progress, have to stop for today because I have a " event" on my kids school hope to finish it by today so no more update from here but the finish one

I still have to sand the right back side and cut the heads of those loveless bolts

actually for the pic I applied mineral oil however after that I polished with white compound and then put a hard carnauba and bees wax finish to seal
 
it does look too glossy on the picture but now it is normal

I will take new pictures i was just too in a hurry to post the pictures
 
I want to try on another knife a finish that I heard about that is super glue, although do not want to test on my bk2, will try on a cheap knife first for trial
 
ok so now I learned how to do a super glue finish to the handle giving it a better and more protected finish to it. actually it was not that hard and the handle is not slippery
