time with the kids :)

Good stuff. Its good to see others here on Youtube. Your kids sounds cute, love the accent.

I uploaded a series of clips of my kids first survival dayhike. We did things like make fire, get water from a creek, made a deadfall, made a rock and brush shelter and signalled with whistles and a mirror. The had a blast and have been bugging me ever since to take them overnight. Daniel wants to film an episode of survivalboy.

Windows moviemaker is very easy to use. It allows you to string all those little clips together in one film and make transitions etc. Mac
 
I cut a couple useable clips out of a whole lot of kids playing with and fighting over the camera :)

Got a seriously slow "broad band" connection too ... means I leave the clips uploading and go to bed , next morning they will usually be finished .

my kids are wanting to take the camera camping next time now , make film of the boats and fishing and fire lighting etc ... more for their own sake than mine , their mates at school dont believe them when they tell of what they did on the holidays ... they want evidence to prove it :)

That rots about your connection. I can load a 10 minute clip in about 20 minutes and I thought that was slow!


Nobody believes the stuff my daughter gets to do either, from sleeping in a cave to shooting AK-47's etc.
