Time zone or automatically detect DST setting not working?

New user here.

I joined today, selected Eastern Time (GMT - 5:00) and auto detect DST. Made my first post, and it displays to me as an hour earlier than when I posted it.

Am I setting something incorrectly?

That's what I've got and mine works OK. Try logging out and then log back in.

Huh.... mine is set at GMT -5:00 and displays properly......

You also might want to try clearing your cache and cookies.
