Oh what a great combo...your champagne TiN coating on this beast! Is there a technical issue that would prohibit such a union?? i.e. 420HC and the TiN process not compatible?? How can this come to bear as it would be a really great package...my .02 What do you Intrepid owners out there think??? Yeah or a big Nay!!!

GELADEN,

Sounds like a great idea to me. But those guys up in marketing never listen much to me anyways.

No problem with the steel compatibility issue either.

Thanks for the reply Joe, maybe I could send them an E-mail directly from a consumer point of view? They need to realize that the Intrepid owner isn't your typical knife "type". That outwardly it (TiN coating)might seem extraneous, to an Intrepid owner it would seem necessary as is every feature put into that knife. A dark grey or black coating would also be applicable. A case of a truly great piece that isn't...quite... to the finish line!
