Tinkering with some carry options

Simple leather loop made from a 12 inch strip of 9 oz leather on my cpk and two moc strap plate setups. One is full buybrown, and the other I stole off of a afbm sheath that fit my azwelke ash2 sheath.

Nice leather drop loop!

I'm specifically referring to the spacer at the tip of the sheath; the spacer that creates the drain hole/gap between the leather and kydex where the tip of the knife would rest while in the sheath.
Are you ordering a piece or just using a flat head screw driver or something when forming the kydex

Oh. I didn’t make the sheath. These are the stock sheaths that come with CPK blades. I just added a leather backer.

Thanks! It's pretty rough honestly haha, I slipped with the razor blade and slightly scored one side down to the post.

Thanks Clinton1! Actually, this setup was arranged specifically to carry on my hiking backpack strap—it's positioned upside-down or horizontally for quick and easy access.

Got it! Makes perfect sense! Looks like it would have rode a bit high in the pocket…… (not that there is anything wrong with that)……if that’s how it was carried!

I really like discreet carry clips, but they seem to shred my pockets.

Normal ulti-clips don't always fit over the thick seam on some of my pockets, and they can be a pain to get off my pants. However, ulti-clip has the "AP" clip, which seems to work pretty well. I've been liking it on my edc1.2, but I haven't tried it on something larger yet.
