Good day,

I am ready with another tinker's folder. It is 13.5 cm long when closed and 23.7 cm when opened. The blade is 10.2 cm long, 31 mm wide and 5 mm thick. It is a san mai, forged of barbed wire with a 5160 core. Unfortunately the weather is crappy and so are pics, sorry.

It is 225 usd, paypal is welcome.

Awesome knife and cool concept!

Suggestion for next time. That little metal loop at the butt of the knife that operates the lock; is there a way instead of bending it into a loop is there a way you could bend it around the butt and into a pocket clip?

Thanks! :)
Well, it would be a lot easier to make a separate pocket clip on the other side ;)

You could bend a little semi circle kink into that bar before it goes over the butt so there would still be a half loop on that side to help with unlocking.

I am sorry but that is not feasible at all ;) The riveting sequence don't allow it.

(You would have had to start with a longer metal bar for this)
See the circle loop for unlocking the knife? Uncurl half the circle so that now there is a bend in the loop like the greek letter Omega. The bar leading into the left side of the Omega loop will continue to the lock as is. The right side bar will continue over the butt of the knife to make a "deep carry" clip.

No matter how elaborately you explain it. It is not doable. Try it, copy my folder with your idea, if you don't believe me.

hellize,
VERY COOL KNIFE, fun conversation piece.

Walt,
It looks like a neat knife to round out a collection.

Wow, another very cool and unique knife Szilard. Very well executed sir, big thumbs up on this one
