Tiny Folders?

Check Impeial and Colonial, they made all kinds of keychain size slipjoints from the '50s-'80s, they can still be bought realatively cheap.

Case make a small Peanut with a bail on it, any of the Schrade LB1 series can be had for more $ if your lookin' for the USA versions, if ya don't mind Taylor Cutlery's version for a tough little keychain knife they're not too bad, (the last two are lockbacks though).

Do a Google search for keychain knives you'll get all kinds of hits, it's all a matter of money, taste and loyalty.

Ya should be able to get what ya want for between $5-$50, think vintage or SAKs make great keyring knives in slipjoints.

A.G. Russell's Ultimate Pen Knife would fit the bill nicely. Very small and unobtrusive.

That's my EDC, and it's perfect for the unobtrusive and small but sharp knife. The blade is thin, and it's great for slicing open envelopes and packing tape, cords, and the like. I'm presuming you wouldn't use a keychain knife for heavy-duty cutting chores so it will serve quite well for your intended use.

The only drawback to the Ultimate Pen Knife for keychain carry is that the bail is quite tiny. The bail is the little metal loop at the end of the handle that you can use to attach the knife to something else. You might find it hard to attach any kind of ring or other connector to the bail.

I carry the knife loose in my pocket and not attached to anything.

Aristocrat makes some really nice key-chain style knives. I bought a couple of them from ebay a few years ago and was surprised by the quality. They are made in Seki City, reasonably priced, and have a very nice fit and finish. The stag on the knives I bought was extremely nice.

I have a Bug attached to my cell phone. The fit and finish are very good. It opens packages sharpens a pencil now and then etc. People like it because it looks like a big knife that got shrunk down.

I also have a SAK Classic which the handles have come off and consequently replaced with some left over kydex. Not pretty, but it is functional. This one is with my keys.

I got a Bug in the mail today, great little knife for under $10.

You set on a slipjoint?

Otherwise the McGinnis Shrimp is really nice. It's a framelock.

CRKT makes a production version of it for cheap.

why not get the bug? I carried one for 3 months while I worked with horses and I was amazed at how beautifully it preformed for the size it is. Nothing really stopped it and it ate thru stuff which would stopped/bent a swiss army knife a friend had bought (I got him a cara cara 2 in G10 after that, I gave him quite a bit of shit for picking out crappy knifes!) like a fairly thick bucket (about 1/8-1/4 inch thick i think). It's great quality and is small enuf to have and not even feel it. If you didnt know you had it on you, you wouldnt know. its also 5 bucks so why not?
