i'm noticing nowadays that more and more folders are featuring lanyard holes that are too small to slip 550 through.
can someone please explain to me the point of their existence?
i'm sure knife companies are familiar with the width of 550 cord and that's what most of use for lanyards.
please help me understand because that seems lazy on their behalf (like they include the feature just to say it's there but it offers little to no functionality).
i'd rather it not be included at all if it can't be used properly.
i do realize that people have all sorts of tricks to force the cord through a smaller hole but that's ridiculous when it should just come drilled wider from the manufacturer.
spyderco has it figured out but i can't say the same for other companies..
anyone care to engage in a polite, non argumentative discussion about this?
