Tiny round spot in new M390 blade- Any idea what this is?!

I can't 100% tell from that 1 picture you have posted but it looks blade looks dark for satin finish. Looks to me like its had a quick dip in ferric chloride and that light spot is from a the tip of a finger and the blade wasn't properly degrease prior to being dipped which has left the light spot.
