Tip-up/down clip: Should Spyderco be working on it?

NGK: I actually find that a tip-down spydie would open a lot faster for me because the way I draw. I found that trying to open tip-up spydies without flicking/spydie-drop is kinda hard. Partly because my hands are very small comparing to others.

Like I said it's all preferance to me, I dont care if a knife is tip or tip down you just kind of automaticaly adjust to it's feel and never really think about it when you carry it. I guess hand size can play a part in it too.

While I really prefer tip up carry, I do not let that stop me purchasing a good Spyderco. But to continue the the theme of a more snag free clip, and to expand on it by making it more comfortable to hold.
I was wondering if Spyderco has ever toyed with the idea of making a clip that has a recessed pocket in the knife's handle? Such as the clip on Outdoor Edge's Impulse?
