Tip up vs tip down carry

Since my favorite knife is the Spyderco Military, you can just go ahead and guess how I like to carry. ;-)
 
Personal preference.

I prefer tip up with the blade opening side pointing to the outside of my front right-hand pocket. This works well for me regardless of whether the opening is manual, wave or thumb-stud.

Some of my folders like MicroTech Socom Elite are tip down only so I adapt.

I got a Spyderco police over the Military for this reason. But I still plan on getting a Military someday, I'll just have to put some custom scales with tip up carry option on it.
