Tip up vs tip down carry

Which do you prefer and why

which ever way is less constricting in my pants

Tip up for me. But there are some knives that just don't feel or sit right that way. One that comes to mind is my Kershaw Leek.

I could care less when it comes to carry and draw.
But when it comes to knife in hand, I like tip up,cuz I'd rather not have the pocket clip digging into my hand during hard use.
