Tips on using Scandinavian knives

Let`s see then.
Remember that this is how i was told they held their knives.

These two images show how the knife is generally held.

This image shows how the knife is held if the people you fight aren`t really friends.

While this image, shows how the fingers allow for very little of the blade to be used, if you`re "fighting" a friend.

Also, don`t pay attention to my fingernails. I`m a guitarplayer.
(The knife is a BRKT ultralite bushcraft btw, having a 4" handle and almost 3 1/2" blade, it`s the only guardless knife i have at hand.)

That's really cool aarya. I have never seen the last grip position. Do you have any secret tips for using Scandi knives that only kept by the professionals for Scandinavia? Thanks

God Bless

I don`t really think there are any secret tips for using any kind of knives, other than keeping them sharp and working carefully. I suppose a good piece of advice, would be; Think before you cut.
Goes without saying for all knives, but is, i suppose, even more important for knives without a guard.
