• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

tips or tutorials of para-wrapping

Usually helpful to wet the cord first, then wrap. It'll dry tighter.
Other than that... just wrap it the way you want.

Make sure you have enough cord by test wrapping the handle before you start

Don't mind me making a random post so I can find this thread for when I get a hawk in the summer.

just a little tip that i have discovered (by accident).
after you get it wrapped good and tight, coat it HEAVILY with linseed oil (this may take a few coats). that tightens it up even more. i can't even budge my strands.
granted i try to wrap the cord as tightly as i possibly can from the start.
gives this a try. i think you'll be pleased.

Thanks for the info I've been wanting to try this for ever on my Devin Price Warbeast but I am somewhat para-cord challenged.

Clamp your hawk in a bench-mounted vise. Leave your 550 soking in a container of water on the floor under the vise. wearing a pair of work gloves wrap that sucker as tight as you can, stretching the 550 on each wrap. When it dries you cannot budge it, and when wet it is still tight. I have yet to break a handle wrapped like this.
