I think that this knife could really bridge the gaps and become a great multipurpose knife. Lots of thin cutting edge. The tall blade profile gives extra stiffness lost with the thinner stock. This knife could find a great home as a small camp knife, skinning knife, companion for a light campout, or just a great all-around user.

Specs:
.140" CPM 3V
9" OAL
4.375" Blade
1.6" Wide at Plunge and 1.81" Wide at Widest
Full Flat Grind
Natural Canvas Scales with White G10 Liners
Aluminum Pins and Tube
Deep Pouch Leather Sheath by Me

Asking $240 220

I originally designed this knife to have a home as a kitchen slicer. However, with the exceptional toughness and edge stability of CPM 3V, I decided to give it a try in the bush. I did some tree trimming around the house and used this knife to clean up the smaller branches (under 1" in diameter). The thin edge I originally ground this to makes it a breeze slicing in the kitchen. It glides through meat without any resistance and it performed admirably on light, green vegetation. This knife is not meant to be a heavy woods chopper nor the end all survival knife for your bug out bag. But if you want the most awesome slicer for that BOB this is the tool for you. Obviously, it has been used by me around the house. I am looking to thin the herd so I can add a new toy to the arsenal or my wife will yell at me for trying to keep all of the knives I make.

Specs:
.147 CPM 3V
14.8" OAL
9.9" blade
1.5" wide
Ht by Peters to 60 Rc
It is FFG to a thin convex edge
Camo canvas micarta scales
Two aluminum tubes, two aluminum pins
Includes OD Taco Kydex Large Tek-Lok Compatible
Asking $SOLD

This knife is a very early knife in my making. It has some cosmetic character. It is a true user.

If I had even half the amount laying around i would pick up that stacked leather scandi and find a way to make funds work out! That's a great deal! Someone will be pleased!

That flat ground stacked leather handle knife is sweet Chris! Reminds me of my granfather's hunting knife......

Thanks Bruce. I really do love a Kephart styled knife. If that one was in another steel with a bulkier handle I probably would have kept it.

WoW i do not normally remark in these threads because I find that it makes them look cluttered. That being said, your potbelly looks amazing, sometime soon I will save up the cash for one, would look good on my belt, would you make another if that one sells? is so my email is jeffmatchim@gmail.com

Hey Big Chris....

i'm looking for something and your Harppon SAR may fit the bill. Specifially a roughly 6 to 7 inch blade, drop point (kind of like you practical tactical), high saber/flat grind, and a contoured micarta handle. I was going to contact you about making me such a knife, but if you are willing, I would love to help you clear out your old inventory. What I am asking is if you would be willing to reprofile the spine of the Harpoon and remove the barb, something like this....

I don't mean this request in any way to be disrespectful of the design of the Harpoon, i'm just looking for an even flat spine all the way to the tip. The Harpoon's width, thichness, and grind are all what I'm looking for. No sense in making a new knife if modding an existing one would work. If youre willing, count me in for an "I'll take It" for the Harpoon SAR. I understand too if you say no. This request is sort of like asking Michelangelo to redo some of the Sistine Chapel.

That could very easily be done, but not at the $205 price. Thanks for your interest.
If you would like to request a custom order for a knife please email me at the address in my signature.
BTW, my standard SAR has the exact tip /spine profile you want.

Chris - I'll take the long s90v blade. You might need to hang onto it for a little while, though, as I'm heading out of country on Saturday for 3 weeks. Can pay now, of course.
