'Tis the season to buy inferior knockoffs on eBay . . .

Ok... Japan is the exception ;)

Better yet, stick to custom knives. Very few production knives put lead in my pencil these days.

I can buy USA made knives so I do . . . . . exclusively. While I still can. Every time an import is purchased it pushes us toward having no, as is "ZERO" American knife manufacturers.

Shrade... I personally always have an issue with their quality being knocked. There was once a 'Shrade', now there is a different 'Shrade', they are not the same company. Fans of the original Shrade seem to always knock the new Shrade, but they are much different companies, and as far as I am concerned, the new Shrade produces nice 'budget' priced knives (Kershaw's only REAL competitor in this department, IMO.)

When I was working at a sports retailer, we would get uncle Henry , schrade, s&w knives all under Taylor brands, which is all Chinese, not bad light users but, f&f , grind lines, yeah way off.
