Titanium 110

Hi Trax! Yep, I meant just the handles, but the wording just didn't seem to come out right, so thanks for clarifying!!

Not the blade itself (that's SS), just the handles. ;)
Trax...
I disagree.
I obtained my only 560 from e-bay.
It was posted as "titanium blade".

Oh yeah?
Well, did you know that I really like the 889SBMF a ton?
Bet ya a peso that you have never heard that from me before.
goose you never slease to amase me ...:D;)

I also ran across a black 560 with a 110T stamped blade (non-black) just yesterday. My original thought was that the original 560 stamped blade had been replaced, but now I wonder if perhaps the factory simply ran out of 560 blades and just completed a run with 110 blades??

this one i feel was a blade replacement..
they did some crystal ones with 110 blades when they ran out...

I bought a crystal-Titanium handled 110, actually labelled 110T (2003 production?) on the tang, a couple of years ago from a reseller. Seems it wan't much over the WallyWorld price of a regular 110 - may have been a closeout special. An oddity, it is miserably hard to unlock - and a bit stiff to open, too. Clearly, it is the worst 110 I have ever handled, function wise. It looks just like the 560 XLT others have posted. I will keep looking for the box - and post the end flap when I find it.
Stainz

you are not the frist to note that on that year and the next..

I sent my 560 back to Buck & they replaced the standard blade with a BG42 blade a few years ago. Can't remember what it cost but was very reasonable, the postage from Australia was a bit steep. I also attached a "one Armed Bandit" thumb stud for one hand opening. The knife is awsome & light, & is my favourite carry..

I would love to see a pic of that joh!!! :)

BTW, there is no "u" in favorite (sorry, couldn't resist ;)).

You Americans can't spell. There most defiantly is a u in favourite just like colour. Really, I don’t think you should call what you speak English. I think you should call it Merican.;)

LOL WTB. I was gonna write "colour", "honour", "analyse", etc.
But thought the "favourite" was enough.
Some of the words are totally diff...truck-lorry, lift-elevator, flat-apartment, vegemite-crap.
But, BUCK = BUCK :)

BTW, in my region of the US...it's chinglish.

Now it’s me that’s LOL. In Canada lorries are still called trucks and a boot is more often called a trunk. You’re right. Buck is Buck but our liberal government insists that Buck Fever is more properly called ‘Premature discharge due to excessive anticipation of confluence’. Pompous, I know but there you are. We just don’t want it to sound in any way dirty.

Decided to revive this thread & post a pic of my customised 560. It is still my favoUrite folder, & I love the coloUr of the handle.

Just for clarity, here are the various choices for 560. Pick one and start hunting. The top one has a BG-42 blade, which come up from time to time.

Mike, Not that I can even begin to afford chasing these, but is there a variation that is harder to find than the others or are they equally scarce? I see them on the bay every now and then, but never paid attention to any variations.

Here is one of my 560s. It has a Bg42 blade upgrade, unfortunately no longer available from the factory, and is additionally modified by STR. He put one of his "low rider" clips on it, which is anodized a nice bronze color, and added thumbstuds. Note that I am left-handed. Great set-up!
