Titanium AD10 “on order”??

I ordered the Cold Steel Titanium AD10 from Cold Steel directly 10 days ago. I called today to check the status and was told it’s out of stock but a shipment is supposed to arrive at the end of July.

Customer service said I could cancel the order or wait. That seems suspicious, given it’s a 1,000 unit run.

Are they making more or did they not have them ready? There was no mention of it being a pre-order.
 
I've been digging around on this one. I see no listing for sale anywhere except on cold steel. was this a only though cold steel direct buy setup and no dealers stock?

anyone at the blade show....did cold steel sell them there?
 
Pretty sure I saw one listed for sale second hand on reddit today, black to handled and 3v blade. Not sure if the black handled are the same(?).

Edit: yeah it's there. The listing says it's a blade show exclusive and that there were 150 (black handled presumably). I'm guessing they had a batch made for the blade show maybe and next batch is coming? or maybe they sold all of them at the blade show?
 
I cant imagine they sold 1000 of em unless your talking about the black version w only 150 made....
 
Update: now Cold Steel says 8/16 for the shipment to arrive - two months after I ordered it.

I don’t mind some pre-orders - but only when the maker TELLS US IT IS A PRE-ORDER.

wow, you should have had yours long before me. think I ordered it maybe last week. gsm is slow on shipping, but your post on this was a full month ago. man that's not right......

good news is I think you'll like it...if they ever send it to you......

I forgot ya said it was month plus before this thread started. went back and reread your posts.

now why would they send out new orders long before filling already paid pre-orders.....that's some real bs. yours should have shipped before they even listed them on their website for sale... .
