There are several discount codes available to get it to the sub $300 mark. Beautiful knife, but I moved mine on after the two month wait. I just really didn't "need" it as bad as I thought...

I'm not very much attracted by metal handles . A fixed can be wrapped . Folder , nope .

Bet it is a tank though !

probably one of the strongest folders ever made besides the obvious lock and blade geometry, etc, also handle toughness before it would give......

The next day my retailer gets the titanium AD-10 in stock.

Well, that non-supporting dealer got me again. Titanium AD-10 headed my way. 3V + Ti for that price was a bit too good to pass up.

It arrived and it's pretty spectacular. A big chunk of titanium and 3V. Super smooth action and the lock releases easily and cleanly. Really excellent job by the maker in Taiwan.

It’s a beast alright! Mine just arrived and I already nicked my finger…lol I really doubt if I will ever carry it but it’s definitely super cool and very well made. For the sale price under 250 it’s hard to beat.

Before opening mine this afternoon, I figured..."It'll be comparable to a stock AD but with a more super supersteel + upgraded with some Original Goat-like handles slabbed on there."

Boy howdy, was I ever wrong in a good way...don't misquote me, OG handles are the mutts nutts, but these factory blasted and contoured ones feel more svelte and super satisfyingly tacky.

The butta smooooth hydraulic deployment + audible <and tactile> TriAD *SNAP* is comparable to my favorite custom AD10. Gentle shake close, just like I like it.

Even got one of my lucky #'s for my serial!

Super stoked, atm. Christmas come early this year!!!

Firstly, hell yeah! The titanium AD10 is one of the best deals out there and essentially the last word in bombproof folders. Also, agree on the scales. Of additional positive notes, can confirm that they're very difficult to scratch. I've regularly carried and used mine off and on for over a month, and the scales don't have a mark on 'em, and I have barked the scale off of the rivet on my jeans' fifth pocket any number of times. Not a scratch!
