Hello Bladeforums,

Here is Siberian Slasher no. 7, the last of the numbered ultralight machete set. Lots more information about this machete is available in the link.

This machete is about 24" oal, with an 18" blade. The handle is rubber, nylon and leather. It weighs 11 ounces, and is quite thin, stiff and sharp, with a fairly robust distal thickness taper. It's a great tool for anyone who wants a low-maintenance, high-performance light machete for general use.

This machete should be a delight to use. You can get it and let it sit around if you wish, but I recommend using the hell out of it.

This heat-treated, hardened blade is very tough and can be flexed beyond 90 degrees and will return true. Great for freaking people out; works every time! :D They act like it's going to explode. I mean don't aim it at your face or anything, 'cause maybe they're right, but that's highly doubtful.

Alloy is Russian ballistic armor titanium alloy BT23, which is 5Al 2Mo 4.5V 1Cr 0.7Fe, a complex ti alloy.

This blade concludes the Siberian Slasher series.

If the buyer needs a basic leather sheath one can be whipped up for it, but you're just going to be carrying it around anyway, and sticking it in stumps and such when not used, and/or tossing it into your truck bed anyway.

Asking price is Sold big ones, shipped to USA. Overseas buyers may need to add a few extra greenbacks to help cover the shipping cost. Paypal is KLSAMEE@yahoo.com

Here is an HD video showing the blade in closer detail:

Here is a video showing the toughness of another in the series, no. 8. The one for sale in this thread (no. 7) is the better blade, and has a somewhat better heat treatment than no. 8.

Thanks for looking, everyone! :)

I WILL NEVER GET ONE OF THOSE BECAUSE THE FORCES OF EVIL ARE AGAINST ME< GDAMNIT :D

Sam lives, yes!

Impressive! I didn't expect this alloy would perform that well for machete use. After watching Mission Impossible, I stand corrected :-)
