Titanium Anodizing Question

I have leftover Grade 2 titanium screws and I am about to order some 6al4v plate.

I want to anodize all of my hardware blue, but I was wondering if different grades/alloys of titanium anodize the same; I'd like to avoid buying another set of screws.

Thanks in advance.

In my experience different grades do anodize differently (different shades at the same voltage) I've usually been able to adjust the voltage to compensate and get pretty close. That being said, there were a couple of Grade 2 pieces that gave me fits and seemed to never quite match up. Even different batches of the same grade sometimes differ in the voltage->color relationship but as long as you've got a good adjustable power supply you should be able to compensate. It's been a few years since I broke out the ano setup but I used to be pretty active, here's some stuff I did back in the day.
