Titanium Backpacker!

I just sweat like a pig lol. I can dissolve a knife on one bike ride!

Me too. I'm thinking of trying that hydrographic thing on one of my D2 blades- desert digicam of course- to see if it helps.

you lost me there! holograms scare rust off I know that...

Ballistol is good stuff, food safe and reacts against acids.

When I sold sterling jewelry I had to refinish pieces all the time by polishing them. I worked at the market square in St.Thomas as a vendor and it was hot... I gave my buddy from Dominican Republic a bracelet and he would turn it black in just a few days... funny enough the guy are a ton of mangoes and it has been my theory that his bracelet tarnished because of that! lol he had a mango tree and we would eat a dozen of them over the day

If any of you have ever been to St.Thomas you have probably been there... it's a bunch of lunatics in open air tents selling stuff and is right in the middle of everything. I was the one white dude, lol!

I really like Titanium... it is cool to know that a Ti knife can last for just about forever!

It's pretty cool, although I doubt it adds very much more than a thin membrane of unknown corrosion resistance. It's an alcohol-based elastopolymer (I assume) that's essentially made into a big water-transfer decal. You cut some, float it on water, spray with activator (Soul Glow!), and dip your *ahem* stuff* in it slowly. Then you swish it around in the water, and rinse off any remaining activator (Just let your soul show!) and allow to dry. mydipkit.com sells a relatively cheap kit, and it gets good reviews. Check out a video on it!

*Please note- I am not recommending anyone dip their junk in Carbon Fiber pattern. Seriously. You'll regret it. Trust me.

I have to check that out!

I think I saw the process on American Chopper... it is the coolest thing ever! The dipped some fenders and camo'd them.

Lol no fake CF I promise! That is tacky fo sho!

My two backpackers arrived today! Well, I guess THE two backpackers since one is technically for the wife - although she hasn't actually seen it yet, not having made it home from work.. I did tell her she has a present waiting.. Then again, I am about to go get the keys to our new house.. Maybe THAT can be her "present" and I can keep both backpackers :D

The paracord weave was pretty easy to figure out, the cord you included was easily long enough to wrap. There's actually an extra foot or so that should be enough to tie into about an 1" long square or round fob onto the end.. I'll need to look around for some scrap paracord to see how that works out - if it does I'll throw up a pic..

Thanks Daniel, can't wait to put these to use!

Sounds good! Congrats on the house too! :D

That is great to hear on the paracord weave. I just got my camera in so I can finally do a video, lol. I figured if I could figure it out anybody can!

Mine made it in yesterday also. This thing is awesome! Looks great with the paracord on it as well.
Thanks again Daniel

Thanks! Although buying appliances and furniture is REALLY cutting into my knife-buying budget!!!

Anyway, here's a pic of his and hers Ti Backpackers set up as neckers w/ some paracord - I decided on a cobra knot so it would lie flatter under a shirt..

Nice, AZ2AK!

Quasigirlfriend already snagged my Keychain tool, and now she's got her sights on my Ti Backpacker. "That'll look cute when it's pink.", she says.

:D Thanks guys!

I'll have more of these up far sale soon. If all goes well I'm thinking tomorrow in the exchange!

Mine has just arrived...I couldn't believe how light the box then the actual Knife is! Wow stunning work!
Daniel this won't be my last knife from You! (Funds allowing as it cost me £35.96 / $54.87 in tax and handling )

Holy shit! I've passed on buying couple of things from the UK over just that reason.
